Data we process
- Identity and contact details submitted through the order form.
- Career, family, achievement and life-story information voluntarily provided for biography preparation.
- Order, payment status and delivery correspondence.
- Technical security logs and consent preferences.
- Analytics or marketing identifiers only where the visitor has consented.
Purposes and legal grounds
- To review, prepare and deliver the requested biography: performance of a contract and steps requested before entering a contract.
- To answer enquiries, prevent abuse and protect the service: legitimate interests.
- To meet accounting, tax and legal obligations: legal obligation.
- To run optional analytics and marketing: consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
Sharing and processors
We disclose data only where needed to operate the service, including hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics and professional service providers. Each provider receives only the data required for its role. Payment card details are processed by the selected payment provider and are not stored by MyBiography.io.
Retention and security
Order information is retained for the period needed to deliver the service, handle revisions and satisfy legal or accounting obligations. Unnecessary story material is deleted or anonymised when no longer required. We use access controls, encrypted transport, rate limiting and restricted administrative access.
Your rights
- Access, correction and deletion.
